Terms of Service
Legal Entity: Ghais Jhuggi Taleem Foundation (GJTF) • Registered Non-Profit NGO (Pakistan)
Effective: January 1, 2024 • Last Revised & Verified: October 19, 2026
Summary of Terms for Donors, Volunteers & Visitors
By accessing or using the Ghais Jhuggi Taleem Foundation website, supporter portal, or donation services, you agree to these Terms of Service. All donations directly fund free education, books, uniforms, and meals for nomadic slum children. Donations are voluntary charitable gifts processed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). We maintain transparent depository accounts, strict anti-fraud verification, and zero tolerance for unlawful conduct.
1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (whether an individual donor, volunteer, visitor, or representative of an entity) and Ghais Jhuggi Taleem Foundation (GJTF) (“GJTF”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a registered non-profit, non-governmental organization in Pakistan.
By accessing our website at https://gjtfoundation.com, utilizing our Supporter Portal, submitting a donation pledge, or applying as a volunteer, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the website and services.
You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age or possess legal parental/guardian consent, and have the full legal capacity to enter into these Terms under applicable laws.
2. Non-Profit Charitable Mission & Purpose
Established in 2014, GJTF operates schools inside nomadic tent squatter settlements (“Jhuggis”) across Pakistan to educate children who have never set foot inside a conventional classroom. All materials, programs, and donation campaigns published on this website exist solely to advance this humanitarian mission.
GJTF is recognized as a non-profit humanitarian organization. All funds collected are allocated exclusively toward teacher salaries, classroom tent structures, textbooks, stationery, nutritional support, and student welfare in accordance with our registered charter.
3. Charitable Donations, Pledges & Sponsorships
When you submit a donation or sponsorship pledge through our website:
- Voluntary & Non-Refundable: All donations are voluntary charitable gifts made to support educational relief. Because contributions are immediately deployed to cover operational school costs and supplies, donations are generally non-refundable, except in the rare instance of verified technical errors or proven fraudulent account use.
- Currency of Processing: All charitable gifts are accounted for and recorded strictly in Pakistani Rupees (PKR), in compliance with local charity commission rules and banking regulations. Donors giving from abroad must ensure their remittance converts into PKR.
- Designated Causes: We endeavor to apply funds to the specific student or school project selected by the donor. In situations where a project is fully funded or a sponsored child relocates with their nomadic family, GJTF reserves the right to reallocate funds to support another equally deserving nomadic child.
- Tax Exemption & Official Receipts: Every completed and verified donation generates an official digital donation receipt bearing a unique verification reference (e.g.
#GJTF-YYYY-XXXXXX) accessible via/receipt/[reference].
4. Official Bank Accounts & Depository Instructions
To protect our supporters from fraud and impersonation, direct bank transfers must only be made into the Foundation’s officially verified bank account:
Fraud Warning: GJTF never requests funds to be sent to personal bank accounts, private Easypaisa/JazzCash mobile numbers, or unverified foreign intermediaries. If you receive an unsolicited communication asking for funds to be transferred elsewhere, contact us immediately at info@gjtfoundation.com.
5. Monthly Sponsorships, Unpaid Invoices & Invoicing Automation
Donors who establish a recurring monthly child sponsorship agree to the following terms:
- Automated Renewal Invoices: Before your monthly renewal due date, the system generates an official pending renewal record (“Unpaid Invoice”) and dispatches an invoice email with payment instructions.
- No Automatic Card Debits: Because we do not store credit cards or debit accounts, you retain complete control over initiating each monthly transfer via your own bank.
- Flexibility to Pause or Cancel: You may pause your sponsorship for 30 days or cancel your recurring commitment at any time directly through your Supporter Portal dashboard with zero penalties.
6. Payment Proof Submission & Verification Policy
When submitting payment verification (transaction IDs, ATM receipts, or banking screenshots):
- Truthfulness & Authenticity: You warrant that all uploaded transaction IDs and deposit screenshots are genuine and accurately reflect funds transferred to the Foundation’s account.
- Verification Timeline: Uploaded proofs are audited by foundation accountants within 24 to 48 business hours. Once reconciled against our official bank statement, the pledge status updates to “Completed” and an official receipt is issued.
- Prohibited Uploads: You agree not to upload non-receipt files, fraudulent screenshots, malicious code, or offensive media. Any attempt to submit forged receipts constitutes criminal fraud and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
7. Google Cloud & Third-Party Services
Our payment proof management infrastructure is powered by Google Cloud Platform under project identifier gjtf-payment-proof.
